FAMOS robotic® is a robot manufacturer-independent off-line programming system for industrial robots. Different robots of different manufacturers can be combined in one project in any number and in any order.

Postprocessors and controllers

Internally the program data is managed independently of the robot language and will be translated through a postprocessor into one of the target languages. The generated programs are designed that way that they can be integrated easily into your programs.

The postprocessors are developed and improved continuously. Of course this is element of our maintance contract!

The scope of services of the different postprocessors is not identical and may vary. Please feel free and contact our support to inform yourself in detail about the features of each postprocessor.

Robot library

The library contains currently about 500 models. It contains both robots and external devices, as positioners or tracks.

If your robot model is not part of our library, it will be modeled by us and integrated into the library. This is, as a rule, possible within a few days. Additional costs may apply for special kinematics.
Please ask our support if we will be able to deliver your model.

Scope of delivery

In the scope of delivery one postprocessor, from the above list, is included. With this postprocessor all robots which are contained in our library and use this language and/ or controller can be programmed. With the ABB postprocessor,  for example, you can generate programs for all ABB robots from the S4 up to the IRC5.
